Personal data protection policy of the site

The personal data that may be collected on the site are as follows:

  •  Subscription/unsubscription to the AMAP unit's newsletter: when you fill out the subscription/unsubscription form for the AMAP unit's newsletter, your first name, last name, organization, e-mail address and IP address are collected.
  •  Subscription/unsubscription to the AMAP Unit seminar mailing list: when you fill out the AMAP Unit seminar mailing list subscription/unsubscription form, your first name, last name, organization, e-mail address and IP address are collected.
  •  Submission of an application for a reception at the AMAP unit: when you fill out the application form for a reception offer proposed by the AMAP unit, we collect your last name, first name, institution of the last diploma obtained, last diploma obtained, CV, type of reception desired, field of activity sought, desired dates for the beginning and end of the reception, motivations for the reception offer, and IP address.
  •  Contact message: when filling out the contact form, your name, first name, email address and IP address are collected.

The information collected via these forms are processed on the basis of your consent and are intended to :

  • To process your spontaneous application file or in response to a job offer proposed by the AMAP unit.
  • Distribute or stop distributing the AMAP unit newsletter to you.
  • Send you or stop sending you information about upcoming seminars organized by the AMAP unit.
  • Allow you to contact us.
  • Collecting your IP address for site security purposes.

Your personal information is retained for one year for application submissions and contact messages, and until unsubscribed for the AMAP Unit newsletter and seminars. Subject to:
  • The exercise of your right to delete data concerning you, under the conditions described below ;
  • Legal or regulatory provisions authorizing or imposing a longer retention period.

During this period, the AMAP unit, as the data controller, and CIRAD will put in place the organizational, software, legal, technical and physical means to ensure the confidentiality and security of your personal data, so as to prevent their damage, deletion or access by unauthorized third parties.

Access to your personal data is strictly limited to members of the AMAP Unit's Information-Communication Service, who are authorized by virtue of their functions and are bound by an obligation of confidentiality.

Apart from the cases listed above, the AMAP unit undertakes not to transfer or give third parties access to your data without your prior consent, unless they are obliged to do so by law.

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (RGPD) and Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, to files and freedoms ("Data Protection Act") as amended, you have the right to access, rectify, delete and (where applicable) portability with respect to data concerning you, as well as the right to limit and oppose for Legitimate grounds their processing. You may exercise these rights by contacting the Data Protection Officer at dpo@cirad.fr. You also have the right to file a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés) at any time.
